Run command on startup without root (Linux)

Want to run some command when your system starts up? Maybe don't have root access? You can use crontab's @reboot keyword to execute a command on boot.

$ crontab -e

Then add ...

@reboot /some/command
@reboot cd /some/directory && ./command input-file > output-file 2>&1

And save.
